About Ann Maina

Ann Maina is a dedicated Ophthalmic Clinician and Cataract Surgeon at Royal Eye & Ear Hospital, Nairobi, bringing a proven track record in diagnosing and managing eye disorders, performing successful cataract surgeries, and delivering eye care through community outreach programmes across Kenya.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from Kenya Medical Training College. She is registered with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.

Ann has built her clinical experience across leading eye hospitals in Kenya including Sabatia Eye Hospital in Vihiga County and  Lions Sight First Eye Hospital — bringing a wealth of surgical and clinical expertise to her role at Royal Eye & Ear Hospital.
